The idea that there's no productive economic opportunities in the 21st century seems...not correct. I think this piece gets causality backwards - growth will slow because we've let corruption go hog-wild, not the other way around

Video games are somewhat ironically the only medium where the backlash to gambling worked, current f2p monetization models aren't great but they're not literal gambling (mostly) anymore

MPD's stance seems to be "we won't ticket any traffic violations, car or bike" which is not great but at least they don't harass cyclists. I've been involved with cycling groups for years here and have never heard of someone getting a ticket
