HR is in constant rotation because I love the episodic nature of it, and it’s such a sweet read! I feel like I can go to a random chapter and read it as a mini fic which I love! 💕 💞 I can absolutely see how it would relieve anxiety as a writer, it absolutely has that effect for me reading!

When I discovered vashwood fics it was in one of my deepest pits of insomnia and depression/anxiety!! Reading fics in bed at 3am instead of doomscrolling and ruminating was one of the habits that helped me come out of it!! Pry my yaoi out of my cold dead hands

But I always think “you never know what people are going through” before “this is a horrible behavior that you are enabling” ugh…

I feel like my own tendency to be a people-pleaser has once again not only negatively affected me, but possibly people around me.. if I had called out the behavior sooner I think it would have been better.
