The Mayor of Amity is the baddie in today's episode of Kojak.
But there hasn't been a panic on the 4th of July yet, and no-one's been hung up by their Buster Browns.

Dad's dementia is pretty advanced now, and part of his daily routine is to have lunch and then sleep for about 3hrs. But yesterday, he got up after 1.5hrs so he could play for a bit longer with his 14-month-old great grandson who was visiting. First thing he's done spontaneously in yonks.

In 1983, at a school do, this guy came into the room on crutches and ... well ... my life was never quite the same again. Today should've been his 58th birthday but we lost him to cancer in 2003. I've had two great loves of my life, and he was one of them. Much, much missed.
