This should make any decent person angry.
But it was far too many rich men who raped those girls. One grotesque woman, but hundreds of men.
I am not trying to minimize the role of a woman who ignored or enabled the men, or even participated, but let's not make women the primary target our anger.

That's a lovely town. I used to play there in the 90's when it was booming. So many young families then.

Anyone who has had a medical event like a stroke can tell you that the barrage of information afterwards can be overwhelming. Tons of drs, appointments, tests, prescriptions, bits of advice. It's a lot.
Your friend likely made a mistake. I hope they are taking the right meds though.

These stores used to be so clean. They made real donuts & cared about not serving stale coffee.
Never order a cold coffee drink. They're made from the stale coffee that's been on the burner for "20" minutes (it's much longer). It's thrown into a big plastic container & poured on ice. Nauseating!

I worked briefly for them. It was dirty, low paying, lacked proper training. It was embarrassing.

Many people forget they began in Canada.
I think people are reaching the end of their patience with monopolies. It's killing all competition. Also, people like me who are low income can't afford to spend $10 more on anything. It's frustrating but I do my best to shop Canadian, or just not American.

Sadly that option is nearly impossible when you live outside the big cities. Many things that used to be available in local retail stores are now not because they have scaled back their products or gone out of business. We had a Rona and a Peavy's hardware store here, both gone now.
