It's one of those rare pieces of work that I feel like if I never accomplished another thing in my life, I think I'd be okay with that. The feelings I managed to convey with that song alone have culminated 20 years of my writing career and I don't know that I'll ever succeed it.

With cosmic forces looming and quiet moments anchoring their journey, the book explores what it means to be displaced—from home, from memory, from self—and what it takes to choose love in a world that has never made space for it.

At its heart, this is a story about identity, found family, and the collision of two souls who should never have met, yet become each other’s gravity.

As Emile searches for answers about his arrival, his purpose, and the echoes of a father who disappeared chasing the same questions, he and Kat must navigate a world both beautiful and brutal—one that seems to remember them even when they do not remember themselves.

I personally can't listen to either of these enough.

I haven't ever felt this proud about my work. And these songs encapsulate everything I've tried to accomplish with this story over the last 20 years.

They might be the most creative and valuable thing I've ever done with my life.

To follow that - a song that evokes Katejina's (female mc) journey through Book 1.

I highly suggest listening to Emile's followed by Kat's for the most impact.
