Walker has garnered a lot of well-earned respect in this space, and I’d love to see that respect extend beyond his presence to his principles.

If we value his perspective, that should include the parts that make us uncomfortable. being aligned is not enough.

The NO ICE IN MINNESOTA bundle is up. There's a lifetime's worth of good games in this! If you submitted something or just want to shout something out, reply here and let's reshare it and spread the word on this thing.

Sad about pokopia. Won't be able to play for a long time as I won't be able to afford a switch 2 for some while. But that's fine, I can wait, just happy to hear that pokemon fans get a good game

I should really actually start playing Carved by the Garden. Ot was supposed to help Kickstart my writing since I haven't written in a long time. Feeling that desire again. I have a character in my head who deserves her story even if it ends up bad lol

Mewgenics is a neat take on Wildermyth actually

Want to play Dragon Quest. Want to play Eastward. Want to play Animal Crossing. Want to play Mewgenics. Forced to go to work.

Eastward is a killer before bed game. It's meandering and slow, with a lot of dialogue. But that just makes it more relaxing to me. Zelda but as a cozy game.

Also. Im looking to follow more people on here. If you can recommend someone (or a starter pack) im really interested in following people who like games as much as I do! Doesn't even need to be a series or genre I've posted about

I am doing bery well in my two classes but I am STRESSED about it. I barely made it through high school! Im not cut out for college 😭
February 10, 2026 at 4:13 AM
Stand by this even more now lol
Would i replay yakuza 3 if they made a kiwami version.... I think i might. But also, I really dont think it needs a remake. It looks great and plays fine. I feel like getting rid of the annoying blocking mechanics would almost take away from its identity

Ten years ago a game called Firewatch came out and I wrote an essay on how we were slowly being deprived of hearing other human voices every day. I think the piece holds up, and is only more relevant as AI con artists attempt to scrub humanity from even more of our lives.
On Firewatch and the Power of Human Voices in Video Games
Sometimes it works, ironically, by making you feel even more lonely than before.

Firewatch is one of my favorite games! The voice acting is Incredible and the way the story unfolds is wild in the best way. Play Firewatch!
Ten years ago today we shipped Firewatch. I say this every anniversary but it feels both like a lifetime ago and like it was yesterday. Thank you everyone who played it back then or played it today for the first time. Thank you to everyone on the team, I’m still so proud of what we made.

Just because something is easy doesn't mean your focus on it isn't rewarding. Here's me on why you shouldn't play Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on autopilot, like focusing on form even when the exercise isn't demanding.
autopilot + dragon quest vii reimagined - one more run
This week, I read a lot of reviews/posts/ephemera on Dragon Quest VII Reimagined that likened it to an idle game. I’m not going to say that the comparison isn’t fair....

Disappointed to hear about Kiwami 3. The original had its flaws but I still really loved it. I don't need a new yakuza game every tear! Take the time to make them good!
