that totally makes sense, but i think the word “excluded” feels negative - i think it may further ease your anxiety to also frame 99% of indie EP releases not even considered as a blanket factor no matter how good they are, and if they ARE mentioned it’s a footnote or a list within a list!

please don’t agonize over this, EPs that aren’t released by major bands or labels aren’t even considered for most lists and an EP, for me, is a musical stepping stone that’s really for the band to evolve toward their next full length and feed their fans a lil something! don’t be so hard on yourself🖤
