Also staring at me is Crime Syndicate which is £5.18, a smidge cheaper than the £6.99 retail, and JLA: Syndicate Rules which is £11.88 Vs. erratic pricing due to being out of print. Likely gonna wait for now but I can still Contemplate.

Rather set myself on fire than touch anything New 52 related.

I'm in this! Despite a terrible summer of constant things going wrong still managed to scrabble something together and to zero surprise, there's a Trans bent to it.

There's amazing things in this zine and so proud to be part of it. The franchise might be dormant but not forgotten. Please enjoy!
Preview sample of my piece for the Bloody Roar fan zine. It reads: During his early teenage years something… Changed. Quite literally and rather fitting for where they are even though it marked the end of the more innocent era. In the middle of a rather delicate pirouette his beast announced itself and had sent him crashing to the floor with the sudden and violent shift in his balance. He felt like an uncoordinated barrel forced to roll back and forth, struggling to find his feet that seemed to have vanished without his permission. Arms swung uselessly while strange noises emanated from his throat. It was a horrid first experience as things went. The act of standing managed to send him into a fresh spiral once he realised why his hands wouldn’t work. They were gone. Replaced by stiff flippers narrowing at the tip. They can appear elegant to him now but then…? The horror felt all consuming as he refused to believe and desperately sought out something reflective. Steps that should have been frantic were little better than a toddling shuffle. A (Then) impossible picture tried to coalesce in the panic but denial is a powerful thing. It sang proudly in his blood as much as the mysterious warmth that ignited within his chest. There should be talons there, came a bemused whisper as he struggled to remain upright. Sharp as the ones on my feet.

Today's hyper specific side track as my system continues to react badly to cold is getting weirded out by this Super Woman toy.
Toy figure of DC's Earth-3 Super Woman (Aka Lois Lane), likely based on her original design given the black leotard with straps, black heeled boots and yellow cape. For some in explicable reason though she has the most manically evil grin on her face.

And now have a digital copy. Generally don't like digital films/tv via a service given the constant yoink risk but the whole not paying for it thanks to a very random double discount means I'll happily take it and abuse the ability to take screenshots. Plus still got subtitles.

There's also this Karl Wood book which drove me steadily insane to do the layout of and had a limited now sold out print run. It's a mix of art showing UK mills/other things he liked and diary entries. Name scrubbed for transphobe prevention reasons.

Unsurprisingly this dickhead has his fingers in a lot of pies to ensure he gets what he wants with no traces leading back to him. Hardly above taking out potential liabilities when it suits him. His blackmarket dealings is what got Hance in his orbit in the first place for tracking and hit skills.

Even if the game isn't for you, for them to come out with their first game (Particularly a passion project in a supposed dead genre!) and have it do so well with people enjoying it is fantastic.

Nabbed this from Steph's review and yeah. Yeah. There's no excuse for launching in this state.

Good question though these two seem to be consistently who I'm most known for.
Digital artwork. It shows a chimera made of multiple elements called a Notalope. He has a crocodile head with boar tusks, blue eyes, white rabbit ears and roe deer antlers. His head and neck are covered in brown giraffe like patterning over yellow and his neck has a yellow scruff mane like a giraffe. The forearms are structured for walking on down to three toes at the end with feathers that are clearly not designed for flight. The body is an orange base with brown tiger stripes and white stomach. The hind legs being deer like in structure and at the ankle the patterning changes to yellow instead of orange ending with yellow hooves. There is a running tuft of fur going down the hips into a yellow and browned striped tail than is reminiscent of a ring-tailed lemur with more of a point at the end. Digital artwork. It shows a hare/rabbit shaped creature called Mahu with an elongated body and neck. On their head she wears a mask with a simple pattern forming a new face. Her ears, a short dorsal fluff down the neck, above the shoulder and elongated back feet which end in three clawed digits are dark brown. There is a series of blue dots on the neck beside the mask and as part of a circular pattern on the shoulders. There is a red heart in a speech bubble.

Should I have grabbed it? No. That said this is a US only limited numbers release, just over a tenner (Not 30+ as it can go for), based in the UK thus dodging 20+ dollars shipping in the future and brand new.

I have no regrets.

Doing that search flagged an early Locke and... Yeah you can see the more bird beak which later built into the skull to get a better shape. My poor boy what was young me doing to you.

I need to give my poor boy updated references. Avian dragons leaning from gryphons was always my intent when designing them lol The other two sub species are terrifying old and nobody needs that.

His head is beak like causing a triangular pointing skull, pointed ears and a wider lower jaw that fluffs out at the cheeks. His eyes are pale blue matching the swirl of antlers and antler tines running down either side of his neck. Both wings are folded though away from the body to allow full limb movement. Digital sketch. It shows Dreamer Locke with an unusually angular neck and mouth open and his long pointed ears flattened like he's yelling at something. His upper jaw is slightly narrowed with a hooked tip compared to the lightly wider and square lower. His antlers are swirled scribbles while the tines down the side of his neck remain rigid. There is a loose stripe starting behind his eye goes all the way down to his shoulder. He has long feathers starting from the back of his head which go part way down his spine. Digital artwork in an Animal Crossing style. It shows Dreamer Locke, a Preacri Religan with his head facing the right and the rest of him forward. He has triangular ears, a long-ish muzzle with a hook at the end of the upper jaw with teeth peeping out his slimmer lower jaw.There are bright blue antlers that have a curve at the front with three times at the back and this colour is shared by the four tines down his neck, an additional tine on his elbows and his eyes that can be best described as :( in shape. His cheeks and back of his head are quite fluffy and he has a dark brown stripe extending from the back of his eyes down his tines plus a pale brown dot above the eye. His main colour is a deep chestnut brown with a paler brown for under the jaw, down the neck and a little bit of a visible tummy oval. His legs are long for a villager with a dark brown from below the knee that ends with two white hoof toes in the middle of the foot and two clawed normal toes. His hands are simple paws in a dark brown. His tail is long and slender with the dark brown running along the top until it dominates the long tail floof at the end. He is wearing Centrina Court colours of green and yellow in the form of a basic shirt if with the shoulders cut out. This has a yellow trim around the colour and triangular cuffs. Where his shoulders are shown his Fallow markings can be seen. Then to make converting to this style worse, his heavily simplified wings are hanging out with chestnut brown for the main structure and pale brown for the bulk of the feathering. His little wing claw can also be seen which is white. Digital sketch of Dreamer Locke. It shows a quadruped creature laid on the ground in what has affectionately been dubbed a loaf. His antlers are a swirl of energy unlike the antler tines running down either side of his neck. His dark forelimbs are partially crossed with his tail tip laid over them. His Fallow shoulder symbol can be seen and is just above two additional tines that sit just above the elbow joint. His back foot is also dark in colour having two pointed toes in the middle and two small clawed either side. His wings have been sketched in as lines so his body can be seen better. Particularly on the back of the neck he has light fluff.

Two very old dragon designs, Siamet and Darji respectively. One is a sea serpent style the other your more usual dragon with feathering and they're dragon married. Their kidlet, known as Tori, is currently posing as a human.
Old rough colour slapped on a bust sketch of a serpentine style dragon. Siamet is a desaturated orange with darker orange band striping down to the tip of her head. The latter is thickest the spine and behind her "skull plate". She has pointy brow bones and a pale lower jaw with fluff tufts for some reason. She has blue antlers, three antennae dealies ending in yellow, dark sclera with blue eyes and a blue eye mark above them. She has a long dorsal fin down the back of her neck segmented by orange spines with blue tips and orange fin between them marked with a single blue spot. This is all on a turquoise background. Old rough colour bust sketch of a more traditionally shaped dragon if one with a pointed, hooked snout. Darji is a grey-blue with white painted markings marking his brows, antler growth spots, down to his nose tip and two stripes down from the eye. He has a fin like beard tipped in white and scrags of purple fluff starting from the centre of his head going down the spine and partially down the front of his neck. He's also got purple braids adorned with gold bands for some reason and two sets of tiny antlers. There are yellow spots fringed with white going down his neck. A badly drawn wing can be seen which seems to be feathered from white to purple. All of this is on a pale grey background.

If you smash together Aries, year of the rabbit and a celtic hawk sign together you get Mahu I guess. they've been getting longer and longer as I've drawn them over the years but at least the basics have remained consistent?

There is a multi circle marking on the shoulder and dots down a little way down the neck. Though their front limbs end in paws, the back end in three bird like toes.
