LIHTC projects are often smaller because they only get so much $/source/project. Also easier to manage supportive housing if smaller. Costs are high for mostly for other reasons: attorney $ due to complexity, design standards, required reserves, compliance, lots of everything bagel requirements.

My kids listen to the radio and are big KS95 fans. I got reports on the dumb Florida segments they heard while building legos. I had some tapes at their age but they have no music collections of their own since all of our devices are phone based.

I’ve thought about bringing my kids on a vacant building tour in the downtown core. There’s nothing else to do other than go to Target and lawn bowling at Brit’s. Mill City Museum is fun but a 20-25 min walk away.

I think there are 7 restaurants on Nicollet that still serve dinner? Daytons kitchen likely is not up to code and would require $$$ plus inspector sign off to be used again. I just hope that the 2,000 people on Nicollet noticed that many buildings are still boarded and vacant on the first floor.

Have you looked at which MPS schools have the highest walksheds? Our school has a lot walking and biking but it’s also in a very walkable/bikeable part of Mpls with a high density of families.

I keep hoping that someday I can select oven beeping noises like I can on my phone. Right now I have ‘super loud toddler alarm clock’ as my only option so I can’t use the oven during nap time. Techbros are more likely to make a stove with an AI avatar in the future, right?

How much are MPD fees for the Bachmans location in a parking lot compared to the Uptown Location that had street closures? Same question for Open Streets too. I remember years ago that was one of the highest parts of the Open Streets budget. This would be interesting data to find out.

If you want more housing to be built, that generally involves some getting a loan from a bank. And banks don’t like rent control. Why? Because the 2019 NYC rent control law change is resulting in a lot of distressed properties that can’t pay back their loans. www.credaily.com/briefs/signa...
