Some Autumns my Arbutus unedo performs beautifully, sharing its bounty for the birds and mammals to enjoy. Its fruit is sweet and squishy! Not everyone appreciates it to eat, but it is always a feast for the eyes!

Just removed the screen filled with fallen leaves off my water feature in our back garden. It is a bit flattened from that experience but it still looks pretty good, all in all! I love the sound while working in my back yard!

You can see now that there’s ship has succeeded in coming through the locks into Gatun lake from the Caribbean crossing the lake to go through the locks which will allow him to go out into the pacific!

On the left is a pair of gate locks that are closed. The next photos shows a pair of gate locks closing to allow the area to fill to float the boat farther down. The far right one shows them closed and the water rising, now lifting the red ship! Amazing feat of engineering!

We visited the Panama Canal . The green topped things that look like bridges are gate locks to hold the water to float the ships.
