Got my car inspected nearly at the last minute. Definitely going to get it done again in like, August when there's usually nothing else happening. Trying to get things done in Dec is a complete PITA.

One bit of good news. Thought I would need a whole new rig but checked on my mobo and it'll support every video card on the market and has room for more ram. That should be enough to get me straight.

When it rains, it pours. In the middle of trying to get done all the things before my break starts, I popped a goddamn tooth filling. Only saving grace is I got an appointment for tomorrow morning. But I've spent the last couple days in PAIN. Fun!

And as of this morning I now have SEVEN projects needing doing immediately after the new year. Will someone please get my coworkers to realize that when everything is URGENT nothing is. Okay my boss and boss's boss know this but no one else does. >_<

After a ton of cleaning yesterday, wife and I now get to lounge on the futon in front of the big screen watching whatever we find interesting on YT while gaming on our laptops with our cats curled up beside us. More than a good way to spend a Saturday.

Looking forward to getting back to work because I do love what I do and where I work but also not looking forward to it because there's SO MUCH that needs doing and it's all being a PITA. So much for the concept of a code freeze or maintenance mode at year end. lol

Took many more weeks than I thought it would, but aside from the occasional cough, whatever illness I had mid October is gone. Thank the gods. Wife still has a worse cough but she's been improving too. This whole experience sucked.
