New mural is up at 13th and High St in Eugene, OR!!! This was my biggest and most challenging mural so far (and only my second ever, if you don’t count college projects, hehe). I’m so happy it’s done and out in the world!! ✨ #mural #eugeneOR

They love it!! I feel like I saw every type of bee on this plant, from the fattest bumblebees to the teeniest micro-bees. 🥲 You can see the hairy booty on this guy if you zoom in!

The middle creature is covered in stars, and there are some stars in the background too. The text on the bottom says “Faunwood”. A promotional image of a t-shirt design. The tee shirt is Forest green in color, with a three-color screenprint (a lighter blue-green, pale pink, and light yellow). Sizing is unisex. The design is of a woolly forest creature with giant pink drippy mushrooms growing out of it. The drips form a puddle at the bottom, and a smaller creature made of the slime stands nearby. There are birds perched and flying along the mushrooms. A promotional image showing a hoodie and sweatpants for sale. The hoodie is a teal color, with a Loon design screenprinted on the back (there is also a design on the front, but it’s not shown here). The screenprint colors are ivory, black, and red. The design depicts a loon, facing left, with some stars and water droplets. It’s standing in a puddle with some pond fish and wildlife. The pond has legs (I don’t know how else to describe that lol). progress pics!

I finished this one two nights ago, but yesterday I wasn’t able to set time aside so now I’m behind. ;-; I’m determined not to fall off the wagon tho!
I used ink pens, watercolor, and white gel pen. ✨

A scanned illustration depicting a creature inside of a fungus called the “Basket Stinkhorn”. This fungus is known for its alien-like appearance; a lattice-like structure resembling a hollow spherical cage with hole openings. In real life, they are bright red and orange, but for this illustration I used mostly purple and pink. The illustration uses ink pens, watercolors, and a white gel pen. There are planets resembling lavender in the background and stars in the sky.

the scan massacred my sky colors. ;o; but even the photo dropped some of the bluegreen “glowyness” of the sky which is too bad, because it’s the part I was proudest of (you can kind of see it in the progress pic)!

A scan of a painting depicting a moth creature with a fox-like head. The painting is done with acryla-gouache on an 8” x 10” canvas, using red as an underpainting and layering orange, yellow, dark brown, and muted green over it. I’ve attempted to use large strokes and a drybrushing technique to create a sense of energy and movement (though whether I succeeded is up to the beholder)! The moth pattern and coloration is based on the real life specimen, “Hyalophora cecropia”.

day 6 - 💧 slimy #aprilcolors2025

A scanned acryla-gouache illustration of a “Superior Bird of Paraside” in its classic round mating display. The color palette is dark, with lots of black, dark purple/blue, and a pop of light aqua. “Aerial perspective” refers to the way that objects in the distance appear more faded and less detailed than objects closer to the foreground (photos of mountain ranges are usually a good example)!

buuut a lot of people interpreted it as “top-down” perspective and tbh I think that counts too. 👉◕◡◕👉

day 4 - “Aerial Perspective” 🪱🪱🪱#aprilcolors2025

A watercolor, ink, and colored pencil illustration of an alligator/chameleon hybrid in a small square watercolor-paper book. The form is an alligator, with the coloration, tongue, and swirly tail of a panther chameleon. It’s using its tongue to catch a bird snack! Same as the previous image, but showing the artwork “in progress”. At this stage, it is only blobs of watercolor with no ink, highlights, or lineart. A photo from the New Orleans City Park, which helped inspire the subject for the artwork. Spanish-moss draped over tree branches frame a distant cobblestone building on a dirt path. Taken in the botanical/sculpture garden.
