Either way its really annoying to see this sorta misinfo and negativity spread, its really depressing someone can just point and go "AI!!" And it will completely obliterate something in the public eye, true or not.

They spell put that the VAs agreed to it in their contract and that this is all very open. Its no worse then the actual performers who's voices where used to make most of the vocaloid voice synths. People need to chill.

And the ML "AI" in motion is simular to rainworld. Just. God man.

... machine learning in game AI is a very old thing, and its probably not an actual llm stack - it makes no sense to use a language model for that sort of thing, rudimentary ML stuff is more likely. As for the voice stuff... The recent Miku version is using AI for her voice. This is likely the same.

I experienced this with palworld and it sucks so bad. The amount of damage some rando on the internet can cause by lying about something is insane.
