The pay phone microphone was way too much fun, and we took full advantage of having it present. Highly recommend.

We're putting some final touches on vocals for Fathomless II today, and Kyle brought this. It's glorious.

We've learned our lesson after last week's game, and instead of getting angry sitting in the car for 2 hours before we made it off campus,we're hanging out at a tailgate with a bunch of old men waiting out the traffic

It's football time in Oklahoma again, and the wind is really sweeping across the plains today. 25mph sustained, 40+ gusts.

Back in the Thunder dome for the last of the NBA cup group stage games.

Penjamin Pareidolia.

Ignore me, I've hit it too many times already.

I don't know how to feel about these NBA Cup courts.

Spending Saturday morning at the Palace on the Prairie for my son's first college football game.

Up next, one of the most unhinged albums I've ever heard. "He's called the Ol' Dirty Bastard because there ain't no father to his style." ODB was a rarity in this world: a true original, for better AND worse. Sometimes simultaneously.

Wu Tang Clan - Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers)

I don't often listen to hip hop, but when I do I want that Shaolin, Tiger Style, boom-bap good shit. As we all should know, Wu Tang Clan ain't nothing to fuck with. Protect ya neck, kid.

Cattle Decap was great. They played Death Atlas in its entirety, plus a couple more songs after that. Travis is a truly great frontman.

Aborted - "I don't care if you have healthcare or not, open this pit up"

I don't think I appreciate being roasted by a Belgian, but also, fair.

Physical ticket! I haven't gotten one of these in forever
November 19, 2025 at 1:24 AM
On my way to the Diamond Ballroom yet again for some live death metal. It'll be my first time seeing Cattle Decapitation and Aborted, and I'm expecting greatness.

One Day As A Lion - EP

"On August 11, 2008, de la Rocha spoke to the Los Angeles Times about the new project...he revealed that a full-length album was scheduled for an Autumn 2008 release...the full-length album, however, was never released."

JUST GIVE ME MORE MUSIC, ZACK

Some excellent graffiti in this dive bar bathroom.

I usually listen to full albums, so I rarely make playlists. I've also never once posted a story to social media, but if I did I'm sure it would include songs.

Oranssi Pazuzu - Muuntautuja

I love this band so much. I can't wait to see them at MDF next year. I never knew that black metal trip hop would be a thing I was into, but I can't get enough.

A new taco truck opened nearby, so my wife ordered us 25 tacos with salsa so spicy it would be illegal in Denmark. 6.5/10 overall, but 8.5/10 for the al pastor and salsas.

I ran into my favorite teacher at my work event this evening. I had her class from 1998-2000, and she still remembered me after all these years. You're the best Mrs. Barghols, thanks for teaching me it's OK to be weird as long as you're authentic

Audio engineering friends: do any of you have any real world experience with the Warm Audio EQP-WA? I'd love a hardware version of the Pultec EQP-1A, but I'm not willing/able to drop $4500 on one. GC has a used WA version avaliable, but I don't know how alike it really is

I'm enjoying a lovely Sunday afternoon with the family. Sitting in the cheap seats and watching OKC's third string beat up on the Pelicans

Last night's horror movie, my 31st for the month, was my all time favorite, Re-Animator.
