Ha! I moved from decades of university teaching into HS teaching a few years ago and the first thing I did was reread all the school editions I found in my closet: The Great Gatsby, Catcher in the Rye, The Sun Also Rises, Brave New World, Animal Farm, To Kill a Mockingbird, Huckleberry Finn, etc.

The modifier "modern" is soooo unnecessary. He is not just the worst human being to serve as president of the US ever, he is the single worst human being to play a role in American history and by a very large margin. Joe McCarthy, George Wallace, etc. could only dream of being this POS.
