I mean, I see where you're going with that, but why do we try so hard to make Die Hard something it's not? It's a great action movie. One of the best, in fact. Why isn't that enough? This whole Christmas nonsense didn't start until well after its release. Why couldn't we leave well enough alone?

Not a bad idea. And bicycles, too! If I have to drive 30 in my car, they should also obey the speed limit!
