good news everyone! 😊 the coupon i used it brought the total to <25k which is very reasonable for one of these! (they're actually extremely common but for some reason the prices have skyrocketed locally lately with sellers asking more than twice this much for models in worse shape than this one)

today's selection from Bullets & Betrayal was the absolute banger Stranger (1991), a slow-burn thriller with an incredible lead performance from Natori Yūko as a badass taxi driver with a fondness for bomber jackets and combat knives that verges into full-on Izumi-core. loved it, highly recommended!
