Making it FOSS doesn't mean they can't monetize it. Neither does it void or remove their intellectual property in any shape or form (yk licenses?).

I joked about it / suggested it because I myself am a FOSS developer, and I think it would be awesome if anyone could contribute to this great app :)

Hopefully they don't mess this up just like the existing features. And if they do, I heard of a few other similar apps that are in development, so maybe those will be in beta by then 🤞
