sometimes you will get so attached to a character at a strange point in your life that they'll leave an imprint on you that won't ever quite go away. anyways i can still draw ardyn izunia from memory despite not having thought about ffxv in like 4 years which is kinda wild

beat the silent hill 2 remake tonight. despite having already played the original and knowing full well what was coming, i still had to practically strangle myself in order to not sob loudly into my friend's ear on call during mary's letter. what a bittersweet, heartbreaking bit of writing.

beat ace combat 7 + the dlc missions last weekend. extremely fun time, especially those dlc missions. torres might be up there for one of my favorite antagonists in terms of sheer presentation. what a bonkers character, he's great. ONE MILLION LIVES!!!

silent hill 1 remake in the works. bloober if you mess this up or butcher harry's character you will feel my wrath. the silent hill 2 remake was very good but i NEED silent hill 1 remake to also be good. it's my favorite of the 4 first games. harrold mason my beloved good horror dad.

not a shooter but in a similar vein of thought, my favorite player to player communication system is still fromsoft's gestures + limited message systems. try finger but hole forever reigns supreme in my mind.
i think it's good when online shooters lack proximity chat and text chat. players should be forced to interact with each other using pre-recorded in-character barks or the abstract pings from Journey.
