I do not hold anything against people who still use YouTube. I am aware people make their income on YouTube videos. Nor am I trying to start a movement, as I’m not popular or well known. This is a person decision, and to explain why I will be on indefinite streaming hiatus.

Not to mention there is no guarantee these IDs will not be taken in a security breach, or these policies will lead to harsher regulations, such as monitoring Google Drive (as we have seen Adobe engage in recently).

I cannot support a company that engages with overreaching privacy violations, and doing so with untested AI verification. YouTube’s track record on content moderation has been spotty at best, and this will cause issues in the future.

Seriously, I haven’t been in this bad of a headspace since June 2019.
