Later tonight #theFalconeer Remaster will be Steam's free game for the weekend!

Exciting times, I will be spending the rest of the day making comparison shots.... just to ease the anxiety (also released a beta hotfix with reticule colors and deadzone adjustments)

I've been busy expanding the old settlements into larger and more sprawling affairs.

Westgate is a minor location in #thefalconeer and it's remaster but it's become worthy of the name tho.

Today I added a greenish district as an experiment, just a bit of relaxing kitbashing

1. glowing holes on bullet impacts
2. growing them to larger openings with procedural lattice showing behind
3. displacing the shape based on impacts.

I added some internal air bladders so it still makes sense it stays airborne.

Works well on smaller airships too.

There is probably a lot more performant way to do this, but now that I've added vector arrays to my shaders, I'm going full throttle. So now a multi-layered damage system for the balloons.

The dynamic lighting of the clouds in #thefalconeer Remaster is really doing such heavy lifting in making battles feel much more epic and dynamic.
