I remember beating that one for the first time around this time last year I think and I loved it, I thought the mechanics were fun and that the story was cool too, I already liked A Link to the Past but I definitely feel like this one was an improved version of it(in a good way)

It’s really sad how a series can’t be allowed to experiment, 3 shook up the formula from what was set up by the first 2 games and that’s a reason why I love it so much, there’s no point in a sequel to anything if it’s just going to be the exact same thing as what’s been done before imo

Reminds me of something I was talking about last night with how it’s surprising how for a series called Mother there’s basically no fangames with a girl as a main character, I understand going with a boy because it’s tradition for the series but I think there’s a missed opportunity there
