MARSHMALLOW (2025) can't quite decide who its audience is, and it feels a bit raw at times, but it's still a nifty, lightweight piece of genre fun. Retitle it MARSHMALLOW FLUFF...

SHELBY OAKS isn't what I expected -- thought it was a found footage ghost story -- so that's a plus. Feels a bit overstuffed and underbaked, but it still finds some mildly spooky beats. "It's fine" is my poster blurb.

I'll be honest, I didn't finish that one. Moving on...

Ooohhh, any chance you have plans to carry their MISTER FROST 4K?

Do any of my usual go-tos carry this label (Le Chat Qui Fume)? @diabolikdvd.bsky.social @orbitdvd.bsky.social @brotherbelial.bsky.social

Would hope so, but haven't heard anything yet...

Yup, I've seen it as the alternate end scene. Feels like an extra beat that's not needed.

ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN remains a comedy/horror classic. Lots of laughs, and it takes the monsters seriously while still having fun. New 4K from @kinolorber.com looks terrific!

BINGO! Yes, thank you so much, Meagan! Really looking forward to both and didn't want to miss either's eventual release.

YADANG? No, I don't believe it was a Korean one, think it was Japanese or maybe even Indonesian? I could just be talking out my ass tho.

If still available, I would take...

REQUIEM rocks.

Good novel. Great stage musical. Bloated movies. WICKED FOR GOOD again squanders the good will earned by the book's narrative by loading on the filler and ugly look. Production design, innocent.
