Watching the outfit review was fantastic, a lot of the entries were so well presented it made me want to revisit my entry to see if I could do it better with fresh eyes.

Last tidbits. The Leafs averaged 2.65gpg, McDavid 1.56ppg

Also, the Oilers missed the playoffs in 2017/18 and 2018/19 while the Leafs racked up all 37 goals of that lead over 14 games; if you wanted to compare just the years both teams went to the show it would be 149/56 vs 150/96.

That's crazy.

This isn't to dump on the Leafs, it just reminded me of how nutty it sounded when @adamwylde.bsky.social said "every dollar under the max he could take is the biggest discount in history" and I think those numbers really make his case.

Post covid, McDavid has 128 points in 75 playoff games - the Leafs have 105 goals in half as many (38).

That's lopsided, but also cherry picked; the career numbers are better but still surprising..

Since 2015/16 the Leafs have 186 goals in 70 playoff games while McDavid has 150 points in 96.

I would pay to pet that bear!
