Currently dealing with a bit of an existential crisis and anxiety/depression (this has been an on again, off again thing since I was 11).
This animation was weirdly soothing and poignant, and the timing was uncanny lol

It's wild to me that I was thinking to myself back in 2019 "Man, if only Lackadaisy was an animated show, THAT series is something special. Oh well, it's still fantastic just as a webcomic 🤷"

I'm dealing with a sudden onset, intense head cold, and this silly little ad just cheered me up so much 😂

I slightly understand the monopoly concerns, but Glitch and everyone involved with them seems VERY adamant about protecting artists, and giving them space to flourish and tell the stories they want to tell *without* any corporate censorship.
This development is a GOOD thing!

(8) It truly *does* just sound like a misunderstanding that got blown way out of proportion, some people weren't happy with the results not fitting THEIR narrative, and the Lackadaisy team was just trying to prevent further dog-piling from people who weren't listening. I think we're all good 👍

(7) I can see where the misunderstanding took place, I can see exactly why people were concerned, but it looks like they did everything they could to clear the air. I trust a trans person's judgement on trans issues, especially with someone they know personally 🤷

(6) After even more searching, it sounds like the stuff with the "problematic" person was all a genuine misunderstanding, Fable themself looked into it and worked really hard to make sure that their community/team was safe, and they and multiple others VERY confidently trust this person

A few different series I've enjoyed over the years have done that. Most recently, Good Omens is (or was 😭) known for that.
Honestly, it makes a lot more sense to me for smaller, indie series to follow that format.
Big corporate-backed series though?? Idk man, seems cheap on their part 😮‍💨

(5) Especially since, in all my years of being a Lackadaisy fan, this is the ONLY controversy I've heard about the team, and they generally have a good track record. Plus I'm genderqueer myself. I truly don't feel that this is the huge issue it's being made out to be

(4) Sometimes you get stuck working with less-than-ideal people, and have to be VERY careful about how you handle certain situations. Doesn't mean you automatically condone or agree with things they've done.
I think people should cut them some slack.
