I got up too early and was grumpy so I decided to doodle on my tablet for practice. I still suck but that's ok. Should probably try to draw something besides Toshinori Yagi, but...... NAH.

I was going through some of the things in my memory box and I remember drawing this when I was 18 (over half a lifetime ago) and I thought it was still pretty cute
A hand-drawn comic about Gohan from dragon Ball z. in the first panel, he is admiring a dragonfly then the next panel he hears his mom call him. He runs so fast in the next panel that he drops his hat. In the fourth panel below, his mother tells him he needs to do his homework. In the 5th panel he's doing his homework but his thought bubble is him freaking out about how much homework he has. Then in the last panel, he's looking out the window and thinking to himself, "I wonder what Dad is doing?"

You know.... It's actually kinda cute. I tried using no reference photo, so as a total beginner, I'm happy with it. Not complacent because it's still pretty terrible, but I'm going to keep trying!

Made a bouquet blanket for my friend who just lost her husband of 70 years 😭. I hope it brings her some comfort. I'm quite proud of my work and hope it helps her feel loved.

I just commented on someone's art saying they cooked. Intended as a compliment. But I'm kinda old so I'm unsure if I used the slang correctly 🤔 so I added another compliment afterwards and now I'm feeling sort of blank sitting here.

A little collage of critters and blooms I found in my yard today. I was contemplating the end of my growing season and trying to be grateful for the things that are here today. Admittedly I am a bit sad that I won't get to go out in the garden every day to pick veggies in the weeks to come.

The picture shows three separate pictures of the progress of a cocoon on my planter. The cocoon keeps getting progressively more translucent and the patterns on the wings are more visible.

I've been waiting all summer for this variety to get ripe! Pink Brandywine tomatoes are my FAVORITE tomato! My tomatoes did crappy this year so I was really grateful to get even one. Look at how beautiful this heirloom is 😍. Very little seeds, so sweet, no acidity.
