We need to build a tangible alternative. That addresses the loneliness of young men. That empowers the youth. That recognizes that no ethnic or racial grouping is a monolith. We need different tactics and we’ve needed them for decades.

I’m not saying I’m not triggered when someone misgenders me. I’m not saying not to educate those who are listening or not to fight for rights specific to a group. But the Republicans have become the party of the working class. That’s genuinely incomprehensible to so many, but it’s true.

We need to listen to marginalized groups WHILE recognizing that what unites us is class. [and climate disasters] Start there.

These aren’t our enemies. These are working class people who need change and knew they hadn’t received it under the dems. We need to do better. We need to address their concerns. We need to give them tangible reasons their lives will improve.

Trump actually DID get more votes than before, they just weren’t done counting. Trump won demographics he hadn’t before. Despite lying to their faces that his reign would be good for them. These aren’t stupid people. These are duped people.

because they prioritize civility, capital, and peace over justice, the American people’s material conditions, and liberation.

I know this started as a sort of owning the libs post, but I need you to know that I don’t really care about that. I care about the fact that the dems’ classism, and elitism and, frankly, spinelessness even when they HAVE power has consistently failed marginalized people for over 30 years

You have the choice to learn about resistance movements. You have the choice to get to know your neighbors. You have the choice to join food not bombs or any number of orgs already established that could use your help. Build your skillsets. Find your role(s). We’re gonna need each other.

Y’all… I’m not saying do a Jan 6 that’s incredibly foolish and ineffective but like… if you think we are getting our rights back through petitions or even votes, I think you are woefully unprepared for the journey ahead. That’s okay. A lot of people are.
