I imagine they just dont really understand it, and arent interested in finding out more about it or how it works or how its industry standard. How they probably already learned to do it in order to make the baked materials.

I think most dont really understand materials besides materials = shiny.

I pass on heavy baked specular, but it makes me sad to see stuff with pbr textures, that still has the baked specular. Ive seen it around too.

I hate all the new ones. The image recognition ones now have like a 10 second fade after u select the images, so u slect all the images, then click verify and its like please check the new images, the new images havnt even faded in yet. the one where u match 10 shapes sucks ass too.
i just giveup.
