Day 2 of #CrochetAdvent 🧶
A tension checker in box 2. All good.
Today’s task was to crochet two identical pieces, with button holes in them. Might be for buttons, might not. Still no clue.

It is. I have done it the past few years now. 2022 was the bird, 2023 characters from the Nutcracker and 2024 Hansel and Gretel.

Just one for me this year. TOFT advent. A mystery. Huge box this year, with a wood theme. Simple start to Day 1 with a ball of cocoa (dark brown) #EdsAdvent2025 🧶

I like this one too. Something spooked the crows in the field and they all took flight at once. Heron checked them out but stayed put. Not easily ruffled!

Today I start the 7th decade of my life. I am fine about that. Spent it walking in the sunshine with Jack on Lindisfarne, having coffee and cake at Pilgrims Coffee, chips at Seahouses and visiting @forumbooks.bsky.social .
