Bruce Harrell has a responsibility to the values he says he has to support a plan that welcomes as many people as possible.
today, perhaps more than any other day, the mayor's comp plan needs to be heavily revised to prioritize a welcoming agenda that heavily heavily heavily induces abundant social housing, coops, and all other firms of non-market housing

it currently only adds a few thousand.

I don't have much clever to add about the election, except to say that I think the mismanagement of blue cities and states is a big problem for national Democrats. It's a problem even the faintest association with California and/or San Francisco was accepted by many as a self-contained critique.

Federal assistance is over. WA needs to defend itself and invest in itself. If we want any of our goals accomplished, it’s on us to find the money and find the willpower. Hopefully this governor and legislature are up to the challenge.
