Trying not to think too hard about how this is almost certainly our last Thanksgiving together, but taking some comfort in the fact that she seemed to have a good time and also does not know what Thanksgiving is.

so far my theories are “persnickety house demon” or “it’s always been this way and you somehow just noticed it three years in” and both of those seem…implausible.

Interesting! I cannot fathom how that might’ve been introduced, but it would at least make sense.

Any theories about why this might be happening are most welcome. I know I should just try replacing the bulb and see what happens but I will procrastinate any task involving a ladder as long as possible.

It is not on a timer and I haven’t replaced the bulb recently. This is suspiciously coincidental with the time change, so it’s possible it was like this before and I didn’t notice because it was light later, but…I really don’t think so???
