Wayne's World, which I got to enjoy on release, and several years later again, once I spoke and understood English. The French version had different, but mostly working jokes, also quotable af.

Someone (or more) advocated for this to be a thing, and instead of putting them on an ice floe, the whole crew went along with it. You're right - there should be accountability for both the spark, and those that didn't put out that fire until people screamed.

Not like us French/Francophones have something about language already.

Hell you shouldn't even use the same translator in France than you do in Quebec - it's incredibly noticeable and obnoxiously distracting from the story you're trying to tell.

It's a marvel, in my opinion - the themes weren't subtle, weren't light; the themes were the whole game. Bring on your musical puns, your Word-with-a-capital-w wordplays.

I should give another shot at getting the original books in French, and comparing.
