So I have an idea… why don’t all the freedom loving people from Hungary come here, and all the MAGA people can go there (as immigrants!) and make their dream dumpster fire with their pal Viktor Orban. I would feel bad for the actual land of Hungary but something has to give.

People are rightfully upset about maga, fascism, ICE henchmen, and the like. I am too. I also notice people calling them trash, filth, and worse. Degrading their humanity is exactly what they’re doing. Don’t sink to their level. They’re still people albeit who are making horrific choices.

While I am no fan of war, we’re clearly in the precursor stage of one. The Russian bear is picking a fight with a NATO hydra, and given their performance in Ukraine they’re in for a real beating.
It should be obvious to any sensible observer by now that the Russians are identifying key, high-stakes military sites for potential first strikes, which would weaken NATO's response in the event of a Russian invasion of the Baltic states.

I get very frustrated when Christians complain that they don’t feel at home in our culture. You’re not supposed to feel at home, in any culture. If you’re doing it right and taking it seriously, you’re 100% supposed to feel like a fish out of water.

I don’t identify as a progressive or conservative Christian, I find Christ compels me to an uncomfortable place between these poles. From my unaffiliated spot it’s clear that the self-identified MAGA conservative wing has so deeply twisted the message of Jesus that they’ve become a heretical cult.
