I used to buy Monocle every month but lately I’m more into their sister publication, Konfekt. They write such interesting articles and the photography is fabulous. I hope print publications don’t go bust. I’ll keep buying your stuff just please don’t stop printing the good stuff. 😭

A few years ago I shrunk my wool sheep sweater from Rowing Blazers. I never got around to figuring out whether I felted it or not. Now that I own a blocking mat, I tried to re-block it. Hope I can stretch it back to its original size. If it doesn’t work, looks like I’m getting a new one. 😭

The last purchase is not knitting-related. Although I am an iPad user, I still like writing on a notebook and my favorite is #Leuchtturm1917. At one of the shops at the train station I found a version that’s for folks who are writing their thesis. I’ll write one in 2 years so might as well get this.

My favorite purchase are these precious buttons from a shop owner from Belgium. I wished I had bought more but oh well. I did my best. 🤣 I love that I found the perfect buttons for the houndstooth cardigan that I want to #knit this winter.

Today’s spoils from the #HandwerkbeursGroningen fiber festival. M bought scarf and sweater quantities of yarn. I found some wool wash for less than what they’re selling for online and some little beads?? I can attach to the garments I made to personalize them. #knitting

I decided to use a different color on the edge of the hem of my Holly sweater and boy do I regret it. Not that I don’t like the color of the edge but I can’t see shit. I can’t do the Italian bind off without straining my eyes. Gonna pause for now & I’ll attempt to do this in broad daylight instead.

I survived the yarn hydra! I finished #knitting the motif and boy it was not fun to juggle six, yes six balls of yarn to knit my holly motif. But yay I survived. Now I can continue with the boring bits of the pattern.

I try to cuddle my cat on a daily basis because I don’t ever want the day to come where I regret not having cuddled her enough. I love miss Emi sooooo much.

I got some shorties a couple weeks ago and these needles and accompanying cables came in clutch today as I was #knitting the sleeves of my Monday sweater. 🎉

One of those rare moments my independent diva cat comes to sit on my lap and stays for a good half an hour so she can receive some attention and good ol’ chin and belly rubs. I love Emi sooooo much.

Just finished my Olga sweater (will post pics tomorrow) and I just ordered two kits from Knitting for Olive. I need to start making my Christmas and New Year’s sweaters if I want to wear them in time for the holidays. I will be making the Holly sweater and the Snow sweater. #knitting

Got my illustrated copy of Goblet of Fire today and so far it looks consistent in the style of MinaLima. Front cover side by side comparison with book 3, so far it looks consistent with the style.

I spent a decade to get my university diploma so that my cat can sit on it. She likes to sit on my laptop, iPad and other important things.
