A Friday night success! The mouse microswitch replacement went quite well. I did have to desolder the board with the microswitches from a lower board to which it was attached with a pair of 7 -pin breakaway strips. Fortunately, I now have a desoldering station, which made quick work of it.

Meanwhile, I'm over here counting the years since I last stepped into a supermarket alone. It's been at least six! 😂

It does seem that religion is often used as a device to try to move away from what they see as a bad version of themselves. This is why we see so many people "find religion" in prison. They think they are confronting their demons, but they are actually crawling into a fantasy.
