Everyday it becomes more clear what “Again” means to MAGA.

There’s a bill, introduced on April 10th - “Safeguarding Charity Act.”

It’s supposed to clarify that “tax-exempt organizations should NOT be treated as recipients of federal financial assistance.”

But it reads more like, “we don’t want to follow federal rules that prevent us from discriminating.”

We need to be organizing at these protests all over the country to register people to vote, sign folks up to volunteer in upcoming elections, and connecting people with activists and mutual aid groups. Let’s not just get out there and march but take it to the next level 👌🏽

How is a “normal” human experience or existence defined?

It’s astounding that random people on the internet think they have the right to tell you how you should feel about something.

My whole life others have tried to define me:
- Too sensitive
- Too much
- Too little (though I am rather short)

We’re allowed to feel what we feel, without permission.

I have two relatives that were diagnosed schizophrenic in the 60’s and 70’s.

They were placed in institutions.
Never left the institution.
Had infrequent visits from family because that was the treatment plan…

I’m hella mad that my son’s autism diagnosis was delivered in a package of “this is devastating news and you need to prepare yourself for life-long caregiving, fight, and expense.”

A positive experience wasn’t presented as an option and I was so damn naive and lost.

The only way to eliminate the “exposure to autism” is to eliminate autistic people.

Research shows autism is highly heritable.

Autistic people are reading between the lines - and we will not go back to the days of masking to make people more comfortable or being forced into institutions.
