Disgustingly underhanded image to use, graffiti is pretty rare on the tube, and usually cleaned up quickly, especially compared to many US transit systems

My favourite part of the meme is NI is coloured Alliance party yellow - the Lib Dems don't run in NI and Alliance is their sister party.

Rename them "crank containment party", that seems to be their role now

I did a maths degree, and a course on formal languages within that, where a bunch of the contributors to the field in research are linguists. I did not expect Chomsky to be present in a maths degree.

Yeah, professionals all have £10-20k in savings as unemployment insurance too, since we don't have a proper scheme in the UK

Most British pension schemes are target date funds by default in fact.
People don't even realise they have investments via their workplace defined contribution pension.

A cash ISA is a savings account but tax free basically.
No idea why my fellow brits are so afraid of investing though - anyone under 40 has a workplace pension that is invested in the markets!

There's a DS9 episode where the Bajorans try to bring back castes and that is stated to be a block on them joining the federation, for example.

Yeah, it's definitely implied to set minimum standards on rights and democracy, and have starfleet as a common "military" body, but appears to leave almost all governance below that to individual systems

Never heard of them before, but blocked now

Don't forget the triple lock & winter fuel allowance, plus student loans went to 9k just in time for his first year of Uni too!

He's almost certainly not seeing these, the sycophants are showing him ai slop about record polling and clapping black women in Chicago and record low crime in DC. He keeps brainfarting about it all in speeches as he's too senile to realise it's fake.

The tories poll 5th in the 18-30 age range and I think 3rd or even 4th 30-40.
They have almost no voters below about 60 years old.

Cameron managed to win that group over with literally years of hard work laser focused on them in rhetoric and policy alike. The current Tory plan is to maintain a policy agenda that demographic *viscerally hate* that does nothing for them, but occasionally tweet about them as natural backers

The upkeep on a 6 bed can't be small, unless she's got most of it mothballed and lives on the ground floor.

I know someone who works in a village shop, every subscriber to a paper in their paper round is at least 60, most are 70+.

Sell it, buy a million pound house in Zone 3, which would still be a large 4 bed, and you've got £3m to live off.

The problems of an aging society in the mid 2020s and beyond was a topic in GCSE geography when I took it in 2011!

Completely ignoring how the biggest part of the welfare budget goes to the over 65s (aka tory voters) there
November 28, 2025 at 1:24 PM
Also, why am I supposed to care what her Uncle thinks? His relation means nothing about the quality of the budget, this is pure school popularity rubbish from the press.
