But we didn't sign him as the finished article and a series of managers, including the best ever haven't been able to improve certain aspects of his game.
We haven't found better players than Eze and Olise ( who has?) But we certainly have a manger who has made nearly every single player better.

He's just come off the back of a successful international break, so surely his confidence is sky high.
I honestly think it's just a natural flaw in his overall game that at this point of his career cannot be coached and will prevent him from moving up a level.
I still love him though.

I can think of 2 players who aren't STRIKERS who are better than JP and of the STRIKERS you mentioned,all were better than JP at one on ones.
I won't even go down the road of talking about his ability / commitment when it comes to heading the ball, particularly scoring goals from headers.

Hence my point that it's probably the reason JP won't go to a top tier club.
