I think it's mostly a matter of sorting the packages out from Artix's repos and installing the equivalents from Arch, I'll backup my root but it should be easy-ish from chroot, I'm more concerned about configs, but there's an Arch to Artix migration guide so checking the changes there should help!

The 1st thread I found on the forum asking about migrating has no useful answer and only nerds bullying the OP, including an Artix Dev, which is why 1 people don't delve deep into Linux and 2 Artix is something I HAVE to leave because these are the people who maintain and take decisions in my distro

I appreciate the effort they put in maintaining the distro, but I prioritize usability and stability over tinkering (and yes, Arch IS stable, it may not be on paper but it is in practice)

I'm okay with dealing with an office suite shaped like an init system if it means that my head will hurt less

Due to their policy, the linux kernel is often behind because something something they wait for a certain version number before updating, and it's worse with the linux-zen kernel because it usually lags behind even more. Repo updates are not as quick as Arch, and once in a while minor things break
