I find it a tad annoying whenever people say “Revenant Wings is pretty much FFXII-2!” Because like, it’s pretty much just in the sense that “it’s a story that happens after XII”, both games are almost nothing alike.
By that logic, Dirge of Cerberus would be FFVII-2, which is such a cursed prospect.

Started the new Spongebob game that came out a couple days ago, and honestly an hour in, it has been SHOCKINGLY good and well polished so far, a sizable improvement over cosmic shake.
Man I would've loved this SO much as a kid, kind of a shame it's really flown under the radar

I think it is very, VERY fair to criticize the game awards for having a strong bias towards western titles, but also like let's not pretend that the Japan Game Awards don't also have a MASSIVE bias for Japanese games either lmao.

I sadly feel like despite getting nominated, Donkey Kong Bananaza is pretty much locked out of winning Goty this year, ONLY because Astro Bot won last year, and there's no way in hell they will wanna have 2 3D-platformer wins in a row lol

The Star Fox universe and characters honestly have such an insane amount of potential, it kinda feels like we ended up on the worst timeline possible for this series which is so sad, really hope we'll get to see a new game with a cool new story someday

So are people generally feeling mixed/worried about Prime 4 at the moment?
Personally haven’t really engaged with much of the pre release info, seeing as I’m gonna play it day 1 anyways, but it’s interesting how the reaction hasn’t been just over the top excitement for a change

During my last playthrough, I used an exploit with Xbox’s button remapping to map all d-pad directions to X and then just run that around in circles.
They have patched that out since then.
I have spent so long here, my arm is in chronic pain.

Just finished Final Fantasy I (PS1 version) in Japanese!
Short game, but still really helpful with getting a lot of new vocab across, really happy I've gotten to the point where I can confidently play through these things, even if there are still a *few* snags.
Will be starting II soon!
