My pet theory is sometimes that the Gini coefficient is higher for queer men than women, but it might also be the case that I see a lot of queer women in my career (education) so it’s just mirroring my own status.

Yeah, I work in West Los Angeles and can infer this is performative: Danya’s target audience is actually ex-Christians who aren’t that informed about either tradition. Some Islamophobic Jews also showed up in the comments to be like “Haha Christians and icky Muslims are always trying to do this.”

This is somebody with an incredibly poor understanding of diachronic linguistic OR cultural change! It’s like the weird fucking Greek people who insist Homer spoke with 21st century Greek phonetics, but somehow everyone this is a wise moral voice and not a crank.
