Fun fact: You have to eat about 8-8.6lbs of turkey in one sitting to get enough tryptophan to put you into a "food coma." The reason you're so tired after your Turkey Day feast is the massive amounts of carbs and sugar that you're eating alongside that turkey that spikes up your blood sugar. 👍

Sweet potato pie is done, but pies are cooling on top of the stove and setting up before I move them to the fridge to finish cooling down. Probably going to dress up the turkey and get that in the oven soon here so that I can get the rest of the meal into the oven when the turkey is done cooking.

I miss making my Chocolate Silk Pecan Pie. I don't have the ingredients to make it right now, but maybe I can for Yule. Hubby didn't like it and since at the time it was only myself, him, and our 2 year old daughter, I just stopped making it. But I miss it.
