Americans seems to ignore the fact that drone warfare is a thing, it's cheap and available to essentially any random who tries, and Europeans have now been crowdfunding Ukrainian's drone production for almost 4 years
They'd be fucking bombed to shreds by Canadian, EU-funded drones

I see so many ostensible progressives or liberals "joke" about how Canada has no real culture but they're a brotherly people so making them part of the US would be a net positive for them which is identical to the justifications that Russians use for genociding Ukrainians

The majority of the electorate are indeed to blame. Because 1/3rd voted for Trump and 1/3rd didn't vote at all. So they let it happen.
If you had even half of the non-voters move their ass it would be a 400+ EV landslide

America needs an everything reform. Political judicial electoral constitutional,...
Yet even if you gave the dems 80 seats I know they wouldn't be able to pull it off......
Hard not to feel hopeless

At the same time
I believe we can both blame the dems for not doing enough
And blame the fact that the majority of Americans are dumb enough to let this happen. Either actively voting for it or thinking it wasn't a dire threat to go against it.
2020 shouldn't have been close either yet it was...

Something I 100% join you on. Garland and Sullivan were absolutely awful at their respective jobs. And by extension the blame falls on Biden.

Ideological fanaticism. Fascism came back and the GOP embraced it thoroughly. The "American civil religion" is dead on the right. The rise of the evangelicals in particular sealed its fate. Social media make the worst takes "normal policy".

Sure the democrats could have done plenty better and I'm the first one to recognize it.
But if "they're eating the dogs and cats", the nonsensical tariffs policy, and the mass deportations didn't convince you to vote against that, then yeah you're plenty dumb (impersonal you, not you specifically)

Also we have the perennial issue of people not wanting to acknowledge that transatlantic fascism is a working class political movement. The working class are good is a nigh universal shibboleth. 'Fascism is back because the herrenvolk prefer it to being civically engaged.' Is not a winning message.

I'd say the ones who stayed home because of bs reasons, bothsideism and whatnot, are plenty dumb as well
