I really thought this year would be better but it's turning out it's rather rough. My job is fine- just exhausting. I have only evenings to do anything and I'm trying to be a good parent and make time for my kid but I'm always so drained.

This holiday season has been a rough one. I have not had the drive or energy to create, send cards, reach out, shop (I work retail doing online orders). I hate it. I miss being able to take a moment and make cards for my friends. I hardly have time to hang out with my kiddo. I'm always tired.

I noticed back in 2022, I drew a lot more. I didn't work as much, my son was in kindergarten. Same with 2023. After that I noticed I had less art to showcase because I have less energy.
Seeing the gap makes me want to fill it when I have time.
