Mind you, I never got these cool options on the random tables and ended up with stuff like “coward” where you have to make a will power test at the start of the game or be too scared to make any weapon attacks for the whole battle. Hahaha

I remember some big arguments at the time if you could cause a second wound by picking the wounds stat itself!

And “magic absorption” meant any spell or psychic power cast at you instantly had no affect … and you stored it and could discharge it yourself instead! Only one spell at a time but you could choose to swap it out if another one came in.

The magic thief attribute meant that if you hit the enemy (and they were carrying a magical object), on a 5 or 6 you stole the objects powers for the rest of the battle

The “Skeleton Horde” attribute meant every model killed by the blade got turned into a skeleton that joined the bearers unit.

Oooh, this was brilliant in classic Realms of Chaos with Chaos Weapons. The “Stealing” attribute meant that every time you caused a wound you could select a characteristic on the profile and reduce that by 1 … and your stat went up by 1 for 24 hours.
