It is my understanding that Georgia doesn't allow people to run for one elected office while holding a different office. They have to resign before they can run. So I want to know if MTG is going to run for Senate or Governor.

I don't think it was meant to suggest any particular role for psychotherapy in religion - the therapist/marriage counselor was just there to signify a breakdown in a formerly close relationship between Christ and the Church.

I did as you suggested, and jotted down what I thought this cartoon was saying "married couple - Christ and the Church/bride - getting marriage counseling - Church recognizes she has become estranged from her spouse" - close to your second thought in your post.

Washington, though (where I live) only got funds out to the 250,000 households whose normal SNAP day was between Nov 1 and Nov 7. Everyone else's SNAP benefits are in limbo. :-(

Oregon filled all EBT cards on Friday, with their full November benefits, regardless of when folks usually received their SNAP benefits.
