This course is simple and yet it’s the widest one, meaning the difficulty comes from either the other CPUs or your own fault, nothing here is actively unfair & just racing on the course kinda proves to me that turning Campanella into a racing game could have worked!

My favorite-looking course in this game (love the mushrooms) & my 2nd favorite one in general.
The layout is fine if overly-simple.
It’s problem are the speed bumps, but they’re definitely the most tolerable here of any course (even if that’s not really saying much.)

Another course I find perfectly okay. The walls range from “tolerable to squeeze through” to “slightly unfair but never as bad as other courses.”
It’s also my 2nd-favorite looking course in the game what with the use of those purple blocks! Only outdone visually by..

We’re finally done with the bad-tier & are now in fine-tier.
This course is okay, but it’s easily the most forgettable course in the entire game, I remember nothing about it other than it’s not terrible & squeezing through the course is tolerable enough.

Easily the ugliest course in the game, but not as bad as the bottom 3 for me.
I appreciate the shortcut attempt.
It ranks higher than 3 because they actually tried with the layout & it’s higher than 1&7 because no boosts.
It’s still too frustratingly narrow to be fun.

This is almost as bad as the first course for the exact same reason, but it’s ultimately not quite as bad because the walls are further away from the speed bump, making it slightly less infuriating. Slightly.
I also appreciate the shortcut even though it’s pointless.

My least favorite mechanic in Big Bell Race are the speed boosts that can easily run you straight into a wall to damage you, making them anti-helpful.
That mechanic is at its worst in here due to how closed-in the walls are & slopes being so close to the speed boosts!

This course is less infuriating to play than courses 1&7, but it’s worse (& more boring) because of the lazy layout.
It’s the one course where you race in a parallel shape: that sucks & that’s all there is to the course.

What a genuinely stunning location, and one I’m super happy to see most of the video take place!
I’ve already mentioned a major reason why: the yellow grass/trees look golden and super pretty, yet also well-distinguish it from the green Hyrule below.

I’ll admit, if I were taking how these shown features apply in the actual game, the top 2 would be swapped, though it would be the same & both 10/10s.
Either way I adore Ultrahand, it’s BOTW creative mode: something I already wished BOTW had before this reveal!

Fuse is one of my less-used abilities in the game, but I do love it & this video showcases why.
Seeing the after-mentioned puffshroom attached to the shield for a unique combat strategy, the helpful idea of the keese eye-arrows & that extended spear range is so cool!

I ADORE this design, I still do to this day!
All these robotic parts connected by one electric worm-current semi-reminds me of Koloktos’s amazing design being individual parts connected through some dark material, I love it!
I also love the glow of the eye-lines!

Instead of ranking this cave (since we barely see it), I want to focus on how happy I was when I realized caves would be in TOTK after having a painful absent in BOTW, and shown shortly after the Ascend reveal? Love the navigation ideas!

This ability is shown so well, I love the idea of being able to surpass a ceiling into the space above you, and the symbols and animations for the ability are also really cool-looking, love that electric-esc ball in the middle of that grid!
Some cool sound effects too.

Seeing Link skydive with so much visible & beautiful is insane!
In BOTW, falling from a big height could result in 2 poses: dive into water or mid-jump into floor, a middle ground is awesome!
The ability to transition into a dive or paraglide makes it even better!

While I love the design of the regular constructs more (I’ll get to that), I can’t deny these guys seem like a visual continuation that does the regular construct design justice!
I love how elderly they look with their necks bent over, amazing detail. 👍

The puffshroom segment in this video is so cool, seeing the construct tricked into hitting it, then he gets covered in white midst & Link sneaks behind him and strikes him down, it looks so epic & makes me want to boot up the game and fuse puffshrooms to my shield!

Recall looks really cool in the video, helping Link get all the way up to a sky island from the surface of Hyrule, complete with a really cool rewind trail animation!
I also love seeing the rest of the world aside from Link himself becoming less saturated, cool detail!

Unlike the small ugly shack mentioned earlier, this big building looks amazing, mainly because it’s bigger but also the design!
It’s like one of those Ancient Chinese buildings but made of stone, and just saying that sounds cool.

The fans look visually simple but the way they’re used to showcase ultrahand vehicles being able to speed-up or even fly is really fun-looking, and I also quite like the sound effect the fan makes when on.
I also like seeing Link paraglide up the draft.

I was stuck between the yellow trees & yellow grass, as both contribute to the Great Sky Island looking not only beautiful, but unique from the greenery of Hyrule itself.
I gave the trees the slight edge because I think they look slightly better & more golden.

The smaller sky island shown in this video before the transition to the Great Sky Island, while it doesn’t remotely hold a candle to that, still looks quite nice.
I love the yellow trees & those floating structures with the patterns on them.

The first one of these in the video near the beginning is whatever, but seeing one again at the end after being introduced to ultrahand made it click for me.
It’s a cool realization & the idea these will be around the map to help is great!
