Also Posdnous always seemed like a rapper who would wear age well, like he'd have something insightful to share about a phase of life that isn't often explored honestly on rap records. But I'm not really hearing it. Not the depth or specificity I would have hoped

There's an element of too-late fan fiction to the album. A lot of pairings the base would have been so excited to hear in 1997 (DJ Premiere! Nas! Pete Rock! Those guys) but that just feel sort of expected from this cohort now

It’s at the point where you’d need to eat two for a meal. I’d rather they just charged a few bucks more and made them meal size

"a beloved, laugh out loud comedy with an original vision and a lead performance for the ages, and it's a movie you've never seen top a list before" - there's nothing to complain about there. If anything that pick is a corrective to the rest of the list (which is heavy on laugh-lite picks)
