Road trip to Norway. Just before crossing from Sweden to Norway is this giant shopping centre for Norwegians to buy cheaper groceries (and a lot of sugary drinks and candy). That’s a Marlboro branded Ferrari with a Tesla behind parked next to us.

Globally, we subsidised fossil fuel consumption by an entire Mexico’s GDP, in 2022, the ≈13th largest economy. We also surpassed the trillion dollar mark for the first time. https://www.iea.org/reports/fossil-fuels-consumption-subsidies-2022#
