Exactly the budget will help lift kids out of poverty. People on good salaries living more than comfortably shouldn't be whining about losing a small amount of their income to help put into public services and help raise people out of poverty.

Thanks that sounds about right. I am glad they lifted the two child benefit cap and the "mansion tax" I think is perfectly fine if you have two million to buy a house you can pay a little bit more to have better public services etc.

Been a bit chaotic I was listening to bits of the day on 5 live but to be honest the budget being leaked two hours prior I don't think it's as drastic as people have made it out to be I do actually feel for Rachel Reeves and that might mean she is in a worse than bad situation 😂.
